Guess I'm doing this poetry thing
The prompts this week from the inimitable John Watson - Horror Author and the magically mystical Ariadne Pautina have me stretching my poetry muscle once more. Thanks, both of you, for the inspiration! ☀️⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆🌕
Her heart glows
With the light of one thousand suns
Shining through her smile
Candlelight held up to thin paper
Kindness spilling from her eyes and lips
Love overflowing into the void
Absorbing illumination
Soaked into a sponge of darkness
Her alabaster face glows
With the reflection of one thousand suns
Eyes as black as tarry pools
Absolute queen of shadow
The mirror of her abyss
Throws the radiance back
To the brilliant flower
Her counterpart in the dance
Twisting, turning, bowing
Graceful slithers of heat and ice
Gyrating above those below
Sifting stardust and radioactive affection
Onto our upturned faces

This is really cool
I can't say that I'm an expert in abstract poetry, but what I've read is the dualism inherent in all those who haven't found themselves yet. This blazing light, warmth and then ice and toxicity are in symbiosis in one person. There is a saying: - from the same flower the snake makes poison and the bee makes honey. It is the choice that determines the creation.
